Also all Square 1 Art orders are due. Thursday: Flag Raising Ceremony at 8:40am around the flag pole in the front of the school. Please be on time so that we may stand as a class as the flag is raised and we say the Pledge of Allegiance. We will be talking about our nation's flag this week as well as Veteran's Day. Friday: Axson will have an afternoon fire drill Things to come The Nutcracker Make sure to visit our volunteer tab for more information on the nutcracker presentation. Thank you's Thanks so much to Ms. Brown and Ms. Authelet for coming this past week and working on our field trip shirts doing tye-dye. The children's shirts turned out beautiful. Thanks again to all of our Diamond D chaperones Ms. Mottas, Ms. Brown, Ms. Bilgili, Mr. Williams, Ms. Kekec, Mr. Kekec, Ms. Midgley, Ms. Neal, and Ms. Patel. The children talked all week long about feeding the goats, cows, and the BIG bison!! I think that the field trip was a hotter discussion topic than Halloween!! It was so nice!

Beary Important Dates & Weekly Reminders Hi Parents, Here is what we have going on this week. November 14th-17th: Monday: Folders will come home as usual. Enclosed will be a catalog called Small Hands, it is full of many good ideas for home use. If you decide to order mention the code or use the code when ordering 107673 through November 21 and Axson will recieve credit for any purchases. Tuesday: T-shirt Tuesday and Bank Deposit Day for Kindergarteners. Wednesday: Early Dismissal with all children being dismissed at 1:30pm. Also all Square 1 Art orders are due...and I must say one more time how GREAT all of our horse's looked...so cute and very tempting to order!! Friday: Axson will have an afternoon fire drill. Other Information: Please remember to return your child's Indian Pow Wow and Nutcracker permission slips with money. Also please sign and return any report cards that have not been returned. Are you planning on chaperoning the Pow Wow trip next Monday Nov. 21st? Since this was a FREE trip for chaperones, I am very unsure of who would like to chaperone...so far I only have Ms. Mondy and Ms. Day (Aubrey's g-ma) for certain. Please e-mail me or mention it to me this week so that I can plan our art centers. Just a heads up--- Next Monday the children will be recieving information about Planet Pottery coming to our classroom in December. This is an on-campus event when Planet Pottery will be coming and brining holiday ornaments for the children to paint and then we will be wrapping them as gifts for the children to give over the holiday to family or friends. The cost will be $10 for two ornaments. I hope that you are as excited about this as I am...there are no better gifts than child made gifts!! I would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Simpler and Ms. Deval for coming this past week and again this upcoming week to work with two groups of children on the Nutcracker Dances. This is a huge help! Also please be encouraging your child with their dancing they have all learned the Snowflake dance so far. **A big thanks to Ms. Bilgili for helping with cutting the Native American vest for the Pow Wow and Ms. Brown for cutting the childrens headpieces.
